Let’s us try to do something with bazi for fun. Some basic technical knowledge is required for understanding this post though.
We are presented with three dates (15th Aril 2025, 23th April 2025 and 3rd May 2025). For 15th, we take 1500hrs as the timing and 0800hrs as the timing for 3th May.
What can we observe? Two of the dates are yang Water days while a Water Hour (with strength and water revealed) on the 15th acts as a indirect resource to the Yang Wood Day Master. The water element seems to be of some significance here don’t you think?
For 15th, there is a direct clash between 寅 申 in the hour while there is a 辰戌 clash for the 23th. For the former, its officer clashing to self while the earth are resource to the metal. There is a 3 combinations forming water for both 3rd and 15th thereby strengthening the water element. Again, we see the importance of water. But who is it really for? That said, for important activities in date selection, we try not to select timing that has a clash especially one between the day and the month.
This strong interplay of officer and resources is interesting as it deals with support, and authority. We can expect changes and issues dealing with support or involving people in authority. Perception, understanding of authority may change or there are challenges or changes to existing order. On all three days, the Day Master is already strong as we observe that Spring Earth still have residual water energy in it. We look at Jie Qi and not just seasonal strength of the elements.
Water is also a storage in Chen month i.e. 辰虽然属土（阳土），但它也含有壬水（即藏干中有水），具有一定的调和与包容性。水在亥子旺，申长生，到了辰则入墓. On 15th, wood is also in a prosperous state with water strengthening the Day through the hour. Nonetheless, the presence of a clash on 15th will indicate more “drama” and issues than usual. Resource can also refer to health e.g. the “health” of a particular group of people, the organisation, etc.
For the 12 Officers, it’s also Stable and Open day on both 3rd and 15th respectively. As the name implies, it is being open to opportunities while desiring some form of stability. Destruction day falls on 23th. What sort of conclusions could we possibly reach as practitioners?
in determining if a particular set of resource is positive or negative, one has to determine the strength of the chart as well as the Day Master. Only then can we conclude whether the seemingly emphasis on strengthening the water element is actually a good method or not?
Interestingly, the qimen hour for 15th is a Fan Yin chart. It simply means that the energies are unstable and whatever that was planned may not be what was unexpected. Expect disruptions and surprises. When we saw this, we were wondering what could be the issue? Now we know isn’t it? There hasn’t been much excitement in years and perhaps, many were last minute decisions.
What about the day chart for 3rd May? The south has many favourable formations while one needs to watch out for palace in the NE and to a smaller extent, both N and SW. Interesting, a strong water day is beneficial for both candidates in one of the hotly contested area but there is a clash between the day and the month for one of them. It will be an interesting place to watch for sure.
There seems to be an interesting pattern here isn’t it?
