It is Li Chun tomorrow and technically the start of the Year of the Fire Horse. However, in our previous post, we mentioned that by calculating the interchange between the residual and new energies, we realise that the impact of the Fire Horse will hit us with full force from June to Sept period 2026. Therefore watch out for major world crisis, uncertainties and economic issues during that period. For those who are prepared, with every crisis comes an opportunity. For most of us, just keep calm and carry on.

And yes, please do not waste your time queuing to deposit money or what noth during Li Chun. This is not Chinese custom and neither is it fengshui. It is just another urban legend. Everyday is a good day to save money and there is simply no specific auspicious hour for doing so.

For those who are wondering about the yearly forecast, please do not be unduly worried about it if you find yourself at the bottom of the list. Yes, the yearly zodiacs do have an impact (especially if one is clashing the Grand Duke), but they only form 25% of one bazi four pillars which itself is just one of the many factors affecting one’s destiny. Hence, yearly forecast are often a hit and miss thing and some outspoken practitioners have spoken out harshly against it. But then again, what’s with having a little fun. Who doesn’t want to have a glimpse into the year ahead and nobody has all the time in the world to study this in detail.

On another note, one can also observe how the Day Master (We are assuming that readers know what one’s day master is) interact with the yearly energy to have another layer of interpretation. Let us list them down.

The year 2026 is 丙午 year or the year of the Fire horse which is represented by fire. What happens when the external energy of fire interacts inwards with your Day Master. Besides looking at the zodiac signs and the auxiliary stars, this forms an additional layer of interpretation for consideration. The proper way to analyse this is from external to internal as per how the yearly zodiac interacts with the year pillar. This is because, the natal chart which is (pre-determined) and static is now interacting with the incoming moving external energy which is changing every year. Such is the basis of yin and yang.

For 甲&乙, it is an output year. Fire (external) is produced by wood (internal). In other words, what does fire means to wood? Expect a year where your creativity will be tested. For those who are working, expect greater work output or more projects than usual. Output produce wealth so value creation is important. Create intellectual property or do work that is valued in Period 9. There will be new opportunities for one to shine so do remember to grab it. Output can also refers to one’s speech so do be careful in how one’s words and actions are being perceived. Do not act without thinking. One may also find one’s words and actions being securitised closely or being in the limelight unintentionally.

For 丙&丁，one can expect more competition and be prepared to have a sudden outflow of money. Watch your expenses and spend wisely. Do not take unnecessary risks.

For 戊&己, the year is generally favourable for gaining new knowledge, studies or gaining in intellectual pursuits. Got that course you have putting off for a while? Now is the time to revisit it. You may finding yourself suddenly looking to upgrade yourself.

For 庚&辛，one can expect to be working harder than usual. Provided other stars align, there are chances for increase reputation, new job offer, increases stress or responsibility. You may have an increase preoccupation with wealth related pursuits.

For 壬&癸 , females may have the chance of meeting somebody special. Avoid over indulgence and be careful about one’s health.

These are likely scenarios that will occur depending on one’s Day Master in 2026. Combine this with the yearly zodiac and form your own story. To be even more effective, one can even examine the specific stems and branches inside one’s bazi chart and tell the story according to the respective palaces.

By now, many practitioners have completed or started to provide their comments about the year of the Fire Horse of 2026.

With the Gen metal in the south and star 5 of the yearly Flying Star Chart also in the south, coupled with the solid fire pillar, the south becomes an important sector to watch out for in 2026. If fire is one’s useful god and if one’s south is bright and open, 2026 will bring many opportunities. But if fire is unfavourable and one’s south is filled with trees or tall buildings, then it’s advisable not to activate that particular sector. In a year with a sector like that, what is good becomes amplified and vice versa for what’s bad.

The year brings excessive fire energy and will be a challenging one, especially for those born in the year of the rat and horse, where one will certainly see noticeable changes and various challenges. Be careful of how one’s speech may impact others this year, as there is a higher chance (for people born in these zodiac) that you may unknowingly hurt somebody with your words, and it is something that you will regret later.

One will observe the impact of the fire horse more prominently from June 2026 to Jan/Feb 2027. The first few months, especially from Mar to May, will be rather uneventful compared to the rest of the year.

The yearly qimen chart is in an inverse situation for what is related to human actions. It shows that careful planning is required to avoid having unexpected results and consequences. What regulators hope to achieve may be somewhat dampened, and they may not get the results that they want. For the qimen chart, the normally auspicious east sector is suffering from DE and also a situation where the door negatively impact the palace thereby reducing the positive impact.

This is align with the qimen chart which shows an inverse situation for human actions. Fire which is the other important element is revealed in both the year and the hour and supported and rooted. Therefore fire becomes very strong and and the fire industry is expected to do well. Expect greater conflicts between the people and authorities where people’s sense of well being, perspectives are seemingly threatened by changing policies and regulations from the authorities.

Metal is also negative for the year, so expect the financial sector to likely suffer from hits, especially between Q2-Q3 of the year. In the same vein, the earth industry is also expected to suffer while water is conspicuously absent. Water is wealth to the earth Day Master and is inherently negative to an already weak DM. However, in the same logic, if a negative object is not present, one can read reap positive benefits. For a year with excessive fire energy, water can actually help to control it. Hence, water industries (FMCG) etc, may be an unexpected silver lining in the grand scale of things. More importantly, water also refers to one’s intelligence and fluidity. One needs to be adaptive for 2026 and exercises knowledge and wisdom and be very discerning. Upgrade your skills and broaden your perspective. This aligns with the intelligence star of the day branch. Change old patterns. Hard work never kill anyone but working hard and smartly becomes even more important for 2026 as the world fully enters into what is known as Period 9.

Fire is also known as the Li hexagram and is represented by a broken middle line in the middle. This shows the rather superficial nature in the heart of things with more scams, deep fakes and surface material stuff like more frivolous social media content that are just for getting eyeballs coming out. While this is one of the main themes for Period 9, it is very apparent for 2026. Knowledge, being discerning and intelligence in 2026 becomes even more important.

Expect the unexpected, and change is the only constant this year. Cliché but holds more truth this year. Expect the economy to have greater ups and downs with more occurrences of serious natural disasters (especially relating to earth and fire). This is especially with the new Fed Chairman upcoming. One can expect continued conflict in the North-Eastern part of the world as we are seeing today. More concern and news reports relating to heart attacks, bowels, inflammation. Watch one’s emotions and anger. Likely to be an even stronger war of words between nation-states. Outright war is highly unlikely though.

Qimen Manifestation has been gaining in popularity and prominence in the Chinese Metaphysics industry. Industry and Chinese metaphysics purists have thrown shade at it either through public forums or privately to their circle of students. Posed the question in Chat GBT and it will give you a straight answer i.e. Qimen Manifestation is a modern development rather than it being a classical Qimen Dunjia application. It is not even described in seminal Qimen texts such as 《烟波钩沉手》. But here’s the catch? Does it matter?

Truth be told, it doesn’t. The modern day Qimen Dunjia curriculum comprise of Strategic Execution, Qimen Forecasting and Qimen Manifestation. Depending on which school or academy one follows, it may differ slightly. Much of the original qimen dunjia applications lies in it being a strategic tool used by military strategists and the Royal Families. Amongst which, there are a few schools and different methods of calculating the chart. Most people these days use the Zi Run method which is said to be more closely aligned to what was practised by the Royal astrologers. Qimen Forecasting is an added tool to forecasting and appeals to many of the simplicity of its application.

Qimen Manifestation on the other hand, is a combination of elements of Magical/Taoist Qimen, strategic execution mixed with modern day Anthony Robbins’ style of motivational mind conditional towards constructive, disciplined and empowering thoughts filled with wholesome lifestyle practices of mediation and gratitude, along with an attempt to better harness the energies of time and space. Many authors and books such as “The Secret”, “Think and Grow Rich”, “Manifest” (Roxie Nafousi) have covered pretty much the same idea using different terms but without the elements of qimen dunjia.

Does it work? Of course it does. There are tons of quotes like “You are what you think you are”, “Change your thoughts and you change your world” as well as popular concepts like reframing your thoughts and mind for better inner peace and growth. The positive impact of positive thinking have been properly documented and researched and can reap real benefits for individuals. Therefore, most qimen manifestation frameworks often continue a mixture of some or all of these modern motivational techniques to ready the mind. Then comes in the icing on the cake which is the usage of qimen techniques/concepts and Taoist magic of fa Qimen. Is it part of traditional qimen? Yes and no but it really doesn’t matter if it works does it? Of course, there is a certain amount of marketing hyperbole involved as with most things these days. After all, schools without students cannot really survive. Can it help you? Sure it can. Will everyone get the same results and can it help everyone? No. There is a no single technique that offers the same consistency for everyone and the benefits will generally differ from person to person.

Therefore, the truth is, whether qimen manifesting is part of the classical curriculum of Qimen Dunjia really doesn’t matter as much as the value that it brings to one’s clients. In this line of work, the real value is not just in the accuracy of predictions or technical analysis, but in whether clients walk away feeling more positive, hopeful and more empowered. This is, ultimately, a coaching and consulting business, and emotional impact matters as much as, if not more than, technical skill.​​

Chinese Metaphysics is an evolving subject. The modern ZI Ping method of bazi is a departure from traditional methods while both the Shen method of Flying Stars and Xuan Kong Liu Fa are more recent interpretations of traditional Xuan Kong theory. Today, they are regarded as mainstream and some have even displaced the traditional methods of assessment. In fact, many bazi classics like 滴天髓, 三命通会, 穷通宝鉴 all cover different aspects of what is now regarded as the classic way of interpreting charts using concepts like 12 growth Phases etc, while some are merely commentaries on earlier literature works. What is considered classical today, is actually a long process of assimilating different works, theories, concepts and ideas that was probably once regarded as revolutionary and probably disregarded by the Chinese Metaphysics purists of that time.

A key part to understanding bazi (八字) is to know about nature and seasonal energies. An important technical aspect of bazi is to determine if the Day Master is in season. In other words, it simply refers to the analysis of whether a particular season (e.g. spring) supports the Day Master. This understanding of season and Jie Qi （节气）or seasonal energies is one of the fundamentals to understanding bazi.

The Chinese calendar is made of 24 Jie Qi (6 in each season totalling 24) and there are many good explanations online. In ancient China, these seasonal changes denote the changing weather conditions which not only impact the corps in the farms, but has an impact on festivals, health and culture. For instance, during Summer, the 6 Jie Qi in chronological order are: 立夏，小满，芒种，夏至，小署，大署. During 芒种, it is time to sow the grains while during 小署, it is time to drink more fluids as it marks the beginning of the hottest period of the year.

Having a preliminary understanding of the seasonal energies brings us to the following chart which shows the state of the five elements in each season. For example, what happens during spring? This is when the snow starts to thaw and nature starts growing again. Therefore, wood is the strongest (prosperous-旺). Wood helps fire to burn and therefore fire is strong（相). Water is going into storage and therefore water is at a state of rest（休). If wood is the strongest, the element that wood both counters wood and countered by it (metal and earth respectively) are weak (trapped or dead 困、死） as a natural consequence.

This is the basic understanding of the following chart. For application purposes, if your Day Master is Metal (either Yang/Yin Metal-庚辛) and you are born during the spring season (Feb-April thereabouts), you are regarded as not born in season (不得令). There are two other criteria to determine the strength of a natal (birth) chart but that is beyond the scope of this article.

The next section is a little more technical even for new practitioners and enthusiasts as it is not often talked about with minimum information written for the English speaking audiences. To be honest, it is a little theoretical and conceptual. This examines the role of the sub divisions of the qi/energies within each month in each season. We will focus on the earth months （辰戌丑未）as they are the commonly referred to as the graveyards and represent the transitional stages of each season. They contain both the storage and graveyard of the outgoing and incoming qi and hence contain a mixture of energies. Please see summary in the appended diagram.

In both the Chen (辰) and Chou (丑) months, while the dominant qi (energy) and elemental phases consistently centre on Earth (土), in traditional destiny analysis, greater emphasis is often placed on the concept of “mixed qi” and the flow of elemental energies. During Chen Month, it also contains hidden influences of Wood (most prosperous in season) and also Water (graveyard). During Chou Month, it is considered the “Metal graveyard” month. It similarly contains hidden Water (most prosperous) and Metal (graveyard). That said, the Chen and Chou are still regarded as the earth months despite earth being trapped in Chou and the earth starting to gain strength during Chen months. It is not specifically highlighted during subdivision analysis, it is because attention is placed on the dynamic flow of mixed qi and the strengthening or weakening of other elements.

What about Xu and Wei? The summer and autumn months are when fire is relatively stronger (hotter). Fire produces earth. Therefore during both months, there is the additional influences of fire and metal for Xu (due to autumn). Since earth is being strengthened as a result, the resultant qi/energy during this two months will have earth qi besides their other influencing energies. In the same vein, when earth is strong, fire will be present. The bazi classic《滴天髓》has this to say, ：“土旺之月，火余为势。” (“In months when Earth is strong, the residual Fire gives it momentum.”)

In gist, the four Storage Months — Chen, Chou, Xu (戌), and Wei (未) — exhibit particularly complex qi transitions. Subdivision analysis tends to focus on the progression (“advancing qi”) and decline (“retreating qi”) of specific elemental energies. When analysing by subdivisions, the emphasis is typically on how the Five Elements interact and shift in strength. Phrases such as “Water qi dominates early Chou month, Earth and Metal qi rise later” describe these transitions. This focus on change does not imply that Earth is absent; rather, it highlights the primary energetic movements at different times when despite being considered as “earth” months, the strength of the earth differs. This results in different strength manifestations of seasonal energies as exemplified by the earlier chart.

What is the practical usage of this? Firstly, understanding the strength of the elements helps to determine whether a transformation will successfully take place. A “lure” needs to be present in the stems and the season needs to support the transformation. Elements may combine and yet not transform (合化). Secondly it helps us to determine whether a particular chart has strengths and roots during a natal chart analysis. This becomes important especially when considering the strength of the Day Master during the earth months. For instance, a wood Day Master person born during the summer earth month of Wei cannot simply be regarded as a weak Day Master just because wood is in dormant/resting state during summer as Wei （未）month contain Fire, Earth and Wood energies as shown.

Sounds complicated? It is. That is why these is seldom explained in English for English speaking audiences and is the finer details for understanding seasonal energies. It originates from foundational concepts in ancient Chinese philosophy, medicine, and destiny studies (命理). At its heart lies the understanding of the flow, waxing and waning, and cyclical transformation of the Five Elements’ energies. These ideas are reflected to varying degrees across classical texts on Bazi (Eight Characters) destiny analysis. Examples of classical texts that mention this include: 黄帝内经 (The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon), where there are extensive discussions on the movement, distribution, and transformation of the Five Elements’ qi within Heaven, Earth, and the Four Seasons (known as “qi dynamics” or qiji). Concepts such as “The six qi revolve to form the four seasons; the Five Elements transform to give birth to all things” highlight the dynamic circulation and staged progression of qi, laying the groundwork for later theories of subdivision.

In bazi classic texts like 三命通会, 滴天髓, there are passages that talked about the waxing and waning of the Five Elements, the flow of qi, and the hidden qi within the Earthly Branches. Phrases such as “qi advances and retreats” and “qi is mixed or pure” further illustrate the theory of qi subdivisions.

The third and practical application is that an understanding of this seasonal energies is also key to deriving one of the three Useful Gods （用神）, the regulator （调候). One of the greatest myths by some modern masters is that there is no necessity to balance the natal chart and hence no necessity for the Useful God. This is flawed at best and deviates from an understanding of how TCM works. We will explain more in another article.

In any case, the regulator is one of the three possible Useful Gods for any natal chart. As the name implies, it regulates the ” temperature”. When something is too hot, we try to cool it down and vice versa. Autumn (metal) is dry due to the decrease in humidity (air holding less moisture) and hence leading to a overall drier environment. Hence, it is required to “moisturise” the chart using spring (wood)elements. Why is spring wet? This is because of increased humidity with increased moisture in the air due to warmer temperatures. As snow thaws and temperature rises, warm air rises leading to more clouds, precipitation and consequently, higher rainfall. This understanding of nature is part of the fundamentals in understanding bazi and is similar to the concept of balancing our health in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).

续 。。。此外，命理学中仍有若干悬而未解的问题，例如时间问题：我们该用阳历时间吗？该如何换盘？严格来说，古代中国的一天从晚上23点（子时）开始，而午夜零点开始新一天的观念则源自西方。因此，何时才算新的一天，便成了一个需要厘清的问题。在资讯爆炸的当下，客户往往会比较不同命理师的解盘和信息，质疑为何算法和评估方法有所不同。

八字是一门以太阳为基础、直接受季节影响的学问。现代的时区制度因地域、甚至人为规则（如夏令时）而异。以所在地与太阳的关系为基准的“真太阳时”，在传统八字计算中，是一种更为客观独立的方式。这也是我们的实践方法，但我们也受过两种体系的师承训练，各有其精准度。

在我们的培训中，还有一个特别的栏目，称为“节气”。整个八字体系基于对季节、太阳位置以及二十四节气（24节气）所反映出的季节强弱的研究。因此我们偏好使用“太阳时”而非记录的出生时间来推算八字命盘（即本命盘）。这种方式排除了人为时间（如政治原因改变时间、夏令时、时区等）的干扰，为分析提供了更统一、标准的基准。当然，我们认为用记录的出生时间有时也能得出相当准确的分析，但古典与传统的正统方法仍是基于太阳时。

五行气机与分段理论源自中国古代哲学、医学与命理学的基础观念，其核心在于理解五行之气的流转、消长与循环转化。这些思想在八字命理经典中均有不同程度的体现。其中，“节气”概念，又称为“五行主气与分段”，内容复杂，难以在入门文章中详述。

请参见附图中的样本八字命盘。第一排称为“天干”，第二排称为“地支”。天干共有十个，分阴阳；地支共有十二个，也分阴阳。天干被视为显而易见、表面可见的部分，而地支则多指隐藏、内在的部分。每个天干地支的组合还会形成第三排，称为“藏干”。不同天干与地支之间的互动，会产生特定的组合与属性，这便是我们分析一个人的性格特质及事件预测的基础。

天干及其五行分为： 甲乙（木），丙丁（火），戊己（土），庚辛（金），壬癸（水）。

地支及其季节与生肖代表为：亥子丑（冬）（猪鼠牛），寅卯辰（春）（老虎兔子龙），巳午未（夏）（蛇马羊），申酉戌（秋）（蛇鸡狗）。

地支的土辰戌丑未又称未墓库，在各季节里收纳其季节之气，如辰月是木的墓库因为他已经到了春天的尾声而即将进入夏天。各别季节五行之旺，强，落等在分辨其八字和日主之强衰扮演着举足轻重的脚色。地支里的子午卯酉也称为桃花，而寅申巳亥也称为驿马。这些在八字风水中有一定的作用。

中华玄学中一大特点是一个形容词可以代表许多事物，以情况而定。这让许多初学者感到疑惑。如地支也用来代表月份与时间。如寅和卯分别代表二月和三月如此推理。古中国是以2300 为起点。所以生肖中排第一的鼠（子）就是第一位，2300-0100 为子时，如此推理。地支方面也有五行的代表如亥子为水，申酉为金，用各自所属的季节而定。

如前文所述，本命盘的各个宫位有其特定含义。例如，“年柱”代表幼年时期、祖辈以及整体运势，因此每逢农历新年，许多华人会关注生肖运程，这与整体运势有关。“日柱”中的“日主”代表自我。“月柱”则是命盘中最重要的部分，因为它象征着出生时的季节与主导的季节力量。需要注意的是，这些分类较为灵活，许多命理师会将整柱作为一个整体来看。天干与地支的组合及其关系，以及十神/十个性格类型的配合，会产生多种多样的组合与性格特质，这正是八字的迷人之处。

There are many ways to read a bazi chart. Here’s one of them. (Somewhat technical)

This is a Yi (yin wood) Day Master who is born in the winter month of water and therefore supporting the wood (in Season). Looking at the stems and branches in totality, this is a strong chart. Officer is positive in this chart and appears in the hour palace. Hence this child has positive attributes in the children and work palace. However, there is an abundance of similar elements (wood) resulting in the large presence of F/RW stars being visible at the stems. This creates negativity which can result in one being over-confident, impatient and one will find that it is difficult to change his perspective. Coupled with his resource structure, it is clear that his parents are very protective of him which may bring out the negative aspects of his character. His flaws are visible to others and people may judge him unfairly. He neds to be careful of heart related issues or issues dealing with his small intestines.

His negative traits and over confidence are visible to others and manifests itself strongly during the child’s teenager years. There is a constant tension between discipline, hard work and his inherent nature. As a child, he is very likely to be a hands on person preferring to learn via practice and experimentation rather than route learning or studying. He is likely to be active or likes sports when he is young. Parents are advised to pay attention to the child’s studies especially from the age of 12/13. He may find success in unfavourable circumstances and not easily as he would hope to be. (Learnt success the hard way). Avoid over indulgence but instead, teach him the value of discipline and encourage him to engage in more hands-on activities or creativity led activities.

The father’s positive influence while prominently helping the child’s formative years, may be less prominent (though still useful) during the teenager’s years. It will cause him even greater stress. Inculcating the child’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit is strongly encouraged at this stage. His mother will need to be less protective and instil greater discipline and creativity in him. He will learnt to appreciate his mother more as he grows older and more so when he started working. The notion of discipline is an important theme during this period and he may find himself in a mental tussle between his own desires and occasionally withdrawing from his friends or social circle. Alternatively, he may be able to find a breakthrough in unfavourable and stressful circumstances.

Fire is an important element in this chart as it is not only a favourable element but also a regulating Useful God which helps to balance the cold chart and providing the much needed outlet to his excessive self. Being a friend structure (a negative one), he may experience some difficulties in finding real friends or simply experience much competition in life even at an early age. He is likely to be impatient with restless energy and ideas. Having an objective and learning to set SMART goals and targets will be beneficial. However, fire is inherently weak but is compensated by the early age between 3-13 which hopefully sets a positive tone.

The child’s fortune should get better after marriage and likely from age 33 onwards. and more so from 52/53. He will find that his spouse is supportive of him and he generally fares better in his working life (with numerous nobleman stars) than his studying years with a constant stream of people helping him. The size of his team and company matters though. Real success is likely to come later in life. In contrast to his normal self, he may takes a while to fall in love preferably and ultimately finding a spouse that will support his work. Finding a job that allows him to exercise creativity will be good. It is not advisable to start his career in the public sector or in organisations where hierarchy is closely observed.

At the time of his birth, his family is relatively well when he was born. He needs to learn how to work better with others (e.g. listening to other’s perspective at work) and to speak with care and grace. People and the ability to broaden his perspective are some of his biggest challenges and the “homework” of a lifetime. He needs to be careful with all manner of documentation and legality between the luck pillars of 33 and 43. He may also find himself desiring to be his own boss (if he is an employer during that time) and have issues with figures in authority.

In totality, the technical reading for this child is that the natal bazi chart is a blessed chart. The stars are in the right palace and positive and there isn’t any major clash or countering in the chart. While the capacity may be somewhat limited by the luck pillar, the other important thing to note is for him to practise more humanity and build his creativity. How would you advise his parents if they were your clients? Too much technicality may not be the best way forward. There isn’t any need to analyse everything in the chart too but to do so selectively based on the parents’ questions and needs.

In Qimen Dunjia (奇门遁甲）, the Nine Stars （九星）—also known as the Celestial Stars （天星), originate from the symbolic cosmology of the Great Dipper constellation （紫薇星宿）. These stars represent dynamic cosmic/celestial influences and, when cast onto the Earth Plate （地盘） within a Qimen chart, form an interwoven system of movement and structure representing opportunities and macro circumstances in general.

Apart from the deity (universe), it is part of the trinity of heaven (cosmic/macro influences), earth (doors-actions) and man (human actions and personalities). Each star’s behaviour across different palaces reveals not only its inherent characteristics but also how those qualities interact with the environment, people, and unfolding events. Their strength and individual attributes will manifest themselves in different palaces of the qimen chart.

1. 天蓬 (Grain & Dipper): Symbol of Mystery and Potential

Associated with the water element, Tian Peng governs intelligence, strategy, secrecy, and desire. On the Earth Plate, it signifies concealed or shadowy spaces such as toilets, wells, drainage systems, and basements. When it is with strength, it indicates a person of foresight and depth; when afflicted, it may point to hidden agendas, greed, or entrapment.

2. 天任 (Ambassador & Responsibility): Symbolises Stability and Duty

Associated with the earth element, Tian Ren represents dependability, being grounded, health, and administrative capability. It governs areas related to healthcare, offices, and HR functions. Ideal for personnel matters, healing, and behind-the-scenes operations, it is best positioned in administrative or support departments.

3. 天冲 (Destructor & Energy): Symbolises Action and Sudden Change

A wood-element star, Tian Chong is symbolic of movement, decisiveness, and disruption. It rules transitional spaces such as roads, staircases, and elevators. This star often signifies urgent responses, military action, or sudden decisions. In readings, it indicates momentum, but caution is needed to avoid rashness.

4. 天辅 (Assistant and Support): Symbolises Support, Wisdom and Education

Also a wood-element star, Tian Fu governs intellect, counsel, and education. It correlates with study rooms, classrooms, and meeting spaces. It favours advisors, strategists, and scholars.

5. 天英 (Hero and Fame): Symbolises Fame and Impulse

A fire-element star, Tian Ying is expressive, charismatic, and fame-seeking. It relates to areas with strong lighting, mirrors, entrances, and stages. In professional contexts, it favours competitive pursuits and public recognition.

6. 天芮 (Sickness and Weakness): Symbolises Illness and Concern

An earth-based star with yin energy, Tian Rui signals illness, decay, and worry. It resonates with damp areas, storerooms, and medical facilities. Frequently appearing in health-related readings, it may be an indication where both chronic conditions or emotional stress are present.

7. 天柱 (Obstacle and Pillar): Symbolises Obstruction and lack of knowledge

A fire-element star, Tian Zhu represents resistance, pride, and emotional strain. It manifests in confined or corner spaces and is often associated with individuals who are emotionally distant or rebellious.

8. 天心 (Celestial Heart): Rationality and Strategy

Belonging to the metal element, Tian Xin embodies logic, clarity, and decision-making. It governs legal departments, planning teams, and quiet, focused workspaces. It is ideal for those engaged in legal, managerial, or executive functions.

9. 天禽 (Beast): The Governor

Tian Qin occupies the central palace and is associated with balance, control, and integration. It symbolises the organisational core of a household or enterprise, such as the main hall, command centre, or leadership office and the governor. When properly supported, it enhances cohesion and authority; when weakened or vacant, it may reflect poor coordination and systemic imbalance.
